Do it yourself: candles with seashells

Most of us like to collect shells on the beach, as they have many good memories that can bring in your home. Today’s proposal is to make beautiful candles in sea shells . It is best to choose deeper shells as they burn longer .

First clean the shells and leave to dry. Melt paraffin or candles in a water bath (use a vessel that can easily pour the liquid ) . Can melt candles different colors – such as pink , purple and yellow will get a coral color that fits many of the marine -themed candles .

If the shell is not stable and shake can put it on the neck of a glass cup.

Pour the melted wax into the oyster , then place ready wicks candles (sold as a package , each tipped with a metal tip ) and place one in the middle of each oyster. Be careful not to burn your fingers . If the fuse klyumva , cut it a bit . Allow the wax to harden for about 30 minutes.

Already have great candles that will remind you of the sea.
